December Newsletter

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is
plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:37-38

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall
I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8

Dear Brothers and Sisters In Christ,

How are you doing friends? Our family is doing well! Both of the children have had Birthdays in November and December. Analise is now 1 and Kadin is 4! It is so fun watching them grow and discover new things!

As 2015 is coming to an end we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! 2015 proved to be an interesting year as we watched prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes and the Gospel going into all the world!  What will 2016 bring? Well, we don't know, but we can be s
ure that Jesus is coming soon! And there is a work for us to do! Our prayer for our family and yours is that we will experience true conversion and victory over sin, and give our lives to service, to work for the Lord while there is still time! If ever there was a time to get ready, now is the time!

I can't believe three months have already gone by since we decided to return to Guyana! Wow time has flown by!  We have been sharing with friends, family and churches about our plans to return to Guyana as Missionaries and God has blessed! We still have a ways to go, but our God says he shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory! And we know he will!

I'd like to share a testimony with you that encouraged our faith:

The kids were down for a nap, so I pulled out the laptop and began PRAYERFULLY sending out our first newsletter announcing our plans to return to Guyana, Paruima Mission Academy.  It was within minutes of clicking send that someone replied! We chatted for a while; I was so encouraged by their excitement over our plans. He expressed their desire to give a gift, but would have to wait until he got paid at the end of the month. Of course I reassured him that that was just fine.
Being impressed by the Holy Spirit he suddenly decided to change his mind and give a gift right away via an e-transfer! He said "I don't really have the funds, but God knows my needs, and has never let me down." I kept saying, no, no ,no , it's ok you can wait! But He insisted.
Well later that afternoon He started messaging me again. The message came through as, "Guess what?!! I really didn't have that money to give you. But I have it anyways!" I didn't understand right away, but then as He shared, it was just beautiful! God had given him 2x what He had given us! God honored his faith and obedience! Praise God! I sat there and cried...the gift given was a blessing to us, but you know what?!... the experience of the giver was 2x the blessing to us! He said "I was broke...but Gods work first!"  He and his wife were in awe! And so were we! After we said good bye, this scripture came to my mind! "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these thing shall be added unto you." Gods promises are sure!

This last Sabbath God showed us this promise! "...not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof." Joshua 23:14

Standing on the Promises of God, we will go forward this next year!

We are excited to share many more stories in the future of how God is working in Guyana.

Please join us in prayer as we get closer to leaving! But let's also pray for one another to have an experience with God this year, and to be ready to meet our God! Let us watch and be ready, He will come!

Thank you to all who have been praying, and to those who have given gifts of support! God Bless You!

In His Service,
James, Christine, Kadin and Analise
